Mt. Angel is a beautiful, historic community nestled amongst rolling hills on Oregon’s Scenic Silver Falls Tour Route on Highway 214 in North Marion County. Located in the north Willamette Valley, Mt. Angel is about an hour from the Coast and minutes from eight waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park.
Situated on a hilltop above the town is the Benedictine community of Mount Angel Abbey. Founded in 1882, the Abbey grounds house a Benedictine monastery, a seminary, retreat center, world famous library, a bookstore & coffeehouse, and a natural history museum.
